Why did you decide to attend Ursuline College?
I looked into several programs for Counseling and Art Therapy and Ursuline College was the only program that truly understood that students need to balance studies and life. They offer evening and weekend courses that allow students to gain work experience while learning. This is a program that allows a student to explore the dynamic Cleveland culture while becoming a young professional.
What do you believe is the best part of the Counseling and Art Therapy program?
The CAT program has several connections in the community that allow for diverse experiences in practicum and internships. Students learn in a variety of settings to find their strengths and niche.
How has your experience at Ursuline helped your career journey?
Ursuline provided a strong cohort of young professionals that have offered me support in my career. I also had the chance to work with a variety of populations that have provided me the knowledge to grow in my agency. I now use my knowledge and experience from Ursuline to manage a clinical team, provide consultation, and teach undergraduate students the foundations of art therapy.
