Why I Chose Ursuline
I gained incredible hands-on experience at Ursuline. As a student, I interned at the Department of Child and Family Services, working with children and teens under the supervision of a licensed social worker. I met with parents regarding their children, went on school, home and medical visits, and maintained important records in their database.
Putting My Ursuline Degree to Work
After earning my bachelor’s degree in sociology, I launched my career in social service with a job as an intervention specialist at Applewood Centers, a Northeast Ohio nonprofit human services organization. Eventually, I would like to get my master’s degree and work as a medical social worker.
