Why I Chose Ursuline
I started college at a large state university, it didn't feel right, it was too big for me. I knew having one-on-one attention from my professors would help improve my skills and talents. When I visited Ursuline I could feel the warmth and sincerity from other students, professors, and the campus itself. Transferring to Ursuline was truly the best decision for me. Ursuline genuinely wants their students to succeed and they do so through devoting time to each individual. You don’t necessarily get that at a big university. At Ursuline you have the opportunity to build a personal relationship with your professors and counsellor. I have a great relationship with Dr. K. She guided me since my first day at Ursuline until my last, and we even stay in touch to this day. Her constant support helped lead me to where I am today!
Putting my Ursuline Degree to Work
I spent a year at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and that helped me find my way in the world. Ursuline was a great place to nurture my skills but NYC is where I truly got to put them to use! After graduating from Ursuline, I was accepted into the corporate training program at Christian Dior as a retail coordinator for the east coast boutiques. When my training is complete I will have the option to extend my position or perhaps move into a new role.
I'm Making My World More...
[Interesting]. Ursuline provided me with many career paths and options in my home town of Cleveland, Ohio but I needed more. One year of studying in NYC was not enough so after graduation I made it my mission to find a job in the city and move back. I currently live in Brooklyn and work in Manhattan, I ride the subway everyday and this city truly never sleeps! Living here has taught me how to explore, how to be strong, and to always stay curious!
