Why did you choose Ursuline?
The emphasis on, and reputation of, empowering women and advancing our education really meant a lot to me.
Have any advice for an adult learner who is new to Ursuline?
When I decided to research my options for finishing a 12 years in progress degree, Ursuline made me feel like, “hey, I can do this!” The staff was SO helpful and encouraging. I hope Ursuline feels like a warm and welcoming hug to you too! Use the many, many incredible resources Ursuline has to offer!
How did you manage all of your responsibilities (work, family, school) to be successful in your program?
With a husband and five kids between us, I Zoomed during nap time and I wrote my thesis while watching Paw Patrol. I studied amid morning sickness and read books while I was nursing babies. I juggled online office hours with PTO events. I helped teach 4th grade math while I myself learned statistics. I completed assignments while sitting up all night with a newborn. It was all a delicate balancing act that I credit to discipline and a generous amount of support. It was really hard, but I’m proud I got it done!
