    Join Ursuline's Diversity Dialogues

Ursuline College's Offices of Diversity and Mission invite you to join our new Diversity Dialogues initiative. Held over the course of the Spring 2024 semester, Ursuline students, alums, faculty, and staff will have opportunities for learning and discussion with the goal of creating an inclusive campus. Discussions will focus around the following groups of people who:

    • Jewish – January 17 - February 15
    • African American – February 15 - March 15
    • Asian American – March 15 - April 15
    • LGBTQIA – April 15 - May 15

    You will gain

    • Increased knowledge and understanding around the four groups above
    • Improved skills in and comfort with difficult conversations
    • Increased understanding of and empathy for others’ lived experiences
    • Increased willingness to move from “bystander to upstander” creating a new pathway for an inclusive campus community

    Three ways to participate

    • Awareness/Learn
    • Immersion/Experience
    • Conversation Partners/Share

Throughout the semester there are multiple opportunities to join the conversation and gain understanding and empathy for each of the four groups above. You can attend one or more awareness sessions, participate in immersion experiences, and/or share monthly with a conversation partner.
